Technically, they said in Splatoon 2 that this weapon was back, but it's now become a Dualies weapon. And I'm very VERY happy that Saltspray Rig wasn't back in Splatoon 3 because it's the WORST arena in the ENTIRE series. And even if they brought back this arena in Splatoon 4, just like Hammerhead Brigde & Mahi-Mahi Resort, he needs a MASSIVE rework.

Your gameplay with wellstring is disappointing, please improve. For real though if you will use wellstring again I have some tips: Tip 1) don’t focus to hard on a specific charge level as a good amount of the time your current charge level is enough. Tip 2) this weapon has no fall of damage so try shooting above walls when you know the enemy’s location. Tip 3) try jumping when going for one shots as it makes it far less precise. Tip 4) try to memorize the timings in your head for one shots and full charge. Tip 5) shoot where your opponents would go with a second charge shot to stop them or splat them. Tip 6) don’t be afraid to change your role in the middle of a game depending on what you need, since wellstring is a flexible main weapon Tip 7) have fun :) (seriously being in a good mood helps your game play) I hope this helped :) Edit: Tip 8) jumping then shooting with a full charged shot will make it more accurate.
